About the Event
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a type of cognitive behavioral therapy. Its main goals are to teach people how to live in the moment, regulate emotions, cope healthily with stress, and improve relationships with others. Each week you will learn one of the 4 skills sets as well as have home work to practice the skills. It is helpful if you have a therapist that has an understanding of DBT to talk to in between workshops. This will be offered to those over 18 years of age.
This group is available by referral only. A commitment to attend all 4 workshops (March 7th, March 21st, April 4th, and April 18th) is required, and each class should be paid for prior to the class starting. It is an out-of-pocket expense meaning insurance is not accepted for this service. If you are interested in this group, please contact our office.
